CPR & First Aid:
- We are offering chokesaver course for restaurant owners and employees including Heartsaver CPR.
- Continues to be a requirement for those employed in the health care industry.
- Mandate for most child care providers and other licensed services.
- An increasing public concern.
- 80% of all cardiac arrests occur at home.
- Most are witnessed by family members.
- Most family members are not trained in Bystander CPR.
- If Bystander CPR is not initiated quickly, the victim's chances of survival are greatly reduced.
- In most cases, by the time EMS arrives on scene, if Bystander CPR has not been initiated, the chances of resuscitation are slim.
- Cardiac arrest is reversible through Bystander CPR training.
